The British Columbia curriculum provides a guide for what should be taught in school. The examples and methodology of how materials are taught to students is up to the teacher, allowing them room for creativity. The curriculum provides a trampoline for teachers to jump from and teach in the ways that are in the best interest of the students which will allow more in-depth and focused learning.
